08/29/26 @ Crandell Theatre, Chatham
News enthusiasts and film buffs in or around the Capital Region — mark your calendars!
The Crandell Theatre and WAMC Northeast Public Radio are bringing a special screening of the Oscar-winning political thriller All The President's Men to Chatham on August 29.
The event accompanies the film with a discussion panel on the current state of journalism and investigative reporting. But if you can’t make it and still want to hear what these professionals have to say, the conversation will be recorded on-site to air on WAMC at a later date.
Doors open at 5 p.m. for a meet and greet with WAMC staff and the panelists. Sarah Gilbert, WAMC’s President & CEO, will welcome the audience at 5:30 p.m. before the screening begins.
Joe Donahue, host of WAMC's "The Roundtable," will moderate the post-screening panel which includes Martin "Marty" Baron, former executive editor of The Washington Post, Anne Alvergue, an Academy Award- and Emmy-nominated documentary filmmaker who directed and edited The Martha Mitchell Effect, Fred Rutberg, former publisher of The Berkshire Eagle, and Benjamin Ginsberg, counsel to Republican election campaigns and co-chair of the Presidential Commission on Election Administration.
The event offers a unique opportunity to hear from these media and legal figures right after watching the iconic 1976 film.
