Schenectady’s beloved Jazz on Jay concert series is back for the 2025 season and will be held in the revitalized Jay Square across from City Hall. This year’s lineup features an eclectic mix of artists running the gamut of styles from modern to acoustic fusion to classic jazz.

“Jazz on Jay has enriched Schenectady's cultural landscape for over 30 years, presenting exceptional jazz concerts on Jay Street, and now in our new home at Jay Square,” Jazz on Jay Committee Chair Lanea Bailey said. “Our concerts offer a relaxed environment, where all are welcome to pull up a lawn chair or blanket, unwind, and tune in to the multitude of talent provided by the Capital Region and beyond.”

Performances will take place every Thursday throughout the summer beginning on June 5th and ending on August 28th. Weather pending, each show will be from 12:00 pm -1:30 pm in Jay Square across from City Hall. In cases of inclement weather, concerts will be moved to Robb Alley at Proctors Theatre. All performances are open to the public, free of charge.
