Even during high heat, hundreds congregated under 787 at the Corning Preserve boat launch for Alive at 5’s Emo Night. Playing a set list of songs straight out of high school diaries of the mid-2000s, headliner We The Kings played their hits, such as “Check Yes, Juliet,” “Skyway Avenue” and “Secret Valentine,” as well as some covers of well-known alt rock classics like “Wonderwall” by Oasis, and “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers. We The Kings was supported by local alt rockers Side B.
