september 2025

  • This is a month full of lessons meant to facilitate a major life shift that’s been brewing since last September. We’re at the doorstep of eclipse season once again; to summarize the overall vibe, your most affected life areas will be: work/life balance, physical and mental health, self-isolation, and family. However, you’ll also experience a pull towards expanding your intuition and interpreting dreams while navigating subconscious patterns could become your new normal for a while. Old fears, resentments, and doubts will loom; you’ll feel like tucking yourself safely away where no one can see you.

The first of this month’s two eclipses lands in watery Pisces on September 7th. It’s an intense one as it’s a total lunar eclipse, which is akin to a turbo-charged Full Moon. Deep (read: buried) emotions will be illuminated. This particular eclipse wants you to embrace isolation. To listen to your gut, explore your spirituality, and approach subconscious fears with curiosity. Delving into those hidden parts of yourself is inevitable right now. It’s on the cosmic timetable. All you can do is approach it with grace and a positive attitude, especially as this eclipse will be prefaced by a challenge involving partnership and home/family around the 4th.  The tension could stem from a romantic or business relationship, family, or even real estate. Whatever it is, tact and diplomacy, as well as balance and fairness, are your primary tools for navigating it. There’s a lovely cushion of support woven into this eclipse — look to your family, a current life area currently full of growth and life lessons, for support if that’s available to you.

On the 13th, you’ll receive an important message involving health or work that will tie into eclipse number two, which arrives on September 21st, this time in Virgo. Be aware that your values and priorities surrounding those topics may change around this time. This is a moment of release and restructure, and there’s plenty of planetary support pointing towards positive experiences, too! Meanwhile, prepare for some financial drama after the 29th, which is when Mars enters Scorpio and your 8th house of shared resources, taxes, inheritances, death/transformation, and close bonds. Expect some stress and extra spending; the best way to manage this transit is by pouring energy into optimizing your financial strategies. On the 24th, Mars clashes with Pluto, indicating a challenge or power struggle within those same topics, and one that could rope in a friend or social group you belong to.

This month may be intense, but there’s no need to worry. The cosmos just wants you to take your health, both physical and mental, more seriously. Catch up on medical appointments, kick off a new health routine, and find a good therapist if it’s come to that. Anddon’t be afraid of your intuition. You’ll be more sensitive; long-concealed pathways will open up. Take comfort and pleasure in the immaterial things. Employ a very robust grounding practice because you will feel like you’re living in the clouds. And get some rest!

  • September blooms with the crackling energy of not just one, but two eclipses signifying the second phase of a major initiation that began a year ago. Something birthed around that time — even if it was just an idea — is about to receive a blast of cosmic energy meant to move things forward. Eclipses work by coaxing you towards one thing and away from another; in your case, the growth is centered around friendship and community leadership. As you dive into those topics, old romantic and creative patterns will simultaneously beg to be released.

The first eclipse occurs on the 7th in watery Pisces. This one is a total lunar eclipse, so expect the feels to be in full effect! It’ll be intense, but also blessed — something powerful and solid will begin (or continue) to form within your social groups and extended communities, something that feels fated, even inevitable. This something also receives the full benefit of Jupiter’s support and abundance, so take advantage of any opportunities that arise at this time…but try your absolute best to stay grounded, as there’s also a strong delulu element to this eclipse! Meanwhile, a challenge involving work, siblings, health, pets, or your neighborhood will pop up on or around September 4th, just a few days prior. The timing is auspicious; any ensuing tension may weave itself into its themes. Finding balanced, harmonious solutions may be tough, but that’s exactly what you should try to do. Lead with empathy and don’t be afraid to show vulnerability.

The second eclipse arrives on the 21st, this time in Virgo and your 5th house of dating, pleasure, children, and creativity. To prepare, make sure to pay attention on the 13th, as messages containing clues as to what lies ahead could fall into your lap. Venus also enters Virgo on the 19th, sweetening up those life areas and doubling down on this eclipse’s love and romance themes — by the time the eclipse actually arrives, the stage will already be set! As I mentioned earlier, this one is about release, but it’s also a Solar eclipse, akin to an extra-powerful New Moon. Treat it as a hard reset, a turning point where you intentionally let go of outdated ego-based pleasures and old romantic patterns. A more balanced and organized romantic future lies ahead. This occurs in Virgo, so focus on delineating your current baseline standards and values. Overthinking isn’t your natural style — except within your dating life. Coming to terms with that will provide perspective and balance…as long as you stay away from overanalyze and self-criticism.

Get ready for even more relationship-centered action once Mars enters Scorpio and your 7th house of partnership on the 22nd. This transit is less interested in romance and pleasure, instead focusing on binding commitments such as long-term relationships and business partnerships. Mars can annoy or ignite (…or both!), and the next several weeks may deliver relationship drama or simply a blast of energy meant to shake things up a bit! Watch out for the 24th, however — as Mars bumps heads with Pluto, a conflict or power play involving a close partnership and/or your career could arise.

  • Welcome to eclipse season, where lives change and futures unfold! Just kidding, it’s not that serious, but it will be kind of intense. Eclipses come in pairs and affect opposite signs of the zodiac — in this case, Pisces and Virgo — for around 18 months. This means the themes of those signs, as well as the life areas they preside over in your birth chart, will undergo major change. This particular eclipse series began last September, during which an important career initiation took place. As this second set of eclipses do their thing, whatever began at that time will move on to its next natural phase — this time around, however, themes of home and family are more prevalent.

The first eclipse arrives on the 7th, and as it’s a total lunar eclipse, will be the more intense of the two. Something very important, even karmic, could occur at this time, especially within your career. This electric lunation wants to move things forward — to lead you towards an all-new career phase or experience, one that builds upon that aforementioned initiation from last autumn. Remember, you have agency. This eclipse will receive the full support of Jupiter in Cancer, which is great — but that’s also a lot of water sign energy, meaning it’s extremely important to stay grounded, especially if finances are concerned. The possibility of increased resourcing is strong, but don’t make any huge moves without thoroughly thinking things through. Also, watch out for any tension involving money, kids, or your love/creative life around the 4th. (That’s just a few days prior to this eclipse, so whatever occurs at that time could tie in to its themes!)

The next eclipse occurs on South Node in Virgo, landing on the 21st in your 4th house of home and family. This one is a karmic housecleaning for your emotional foundations, ancestral roots, and sense of home. Heavy stuff for sure, but as this is also a Solar eclipse with the energy of a turbo-charged New Moon and its promise of a fresh beginning, focus on letting go of any old childhood conditioning that keeps you stuck in a rut. Your current path lies in achieving your ambitions; if you don’t release this stuff, no matter how emotional it may be, your progress will be impeded. If you want clues as to what this eclipse has in store for you, pay close attention around the 13th for any sneak-peak messages or conversations!

On the 22nd, Mars enters Scorpio and your 6th house of health and work, which may foreshadow a health concern. Use this energy to revamp your health by hitting the gym or investing in some new supplements over the ensuing weeks. Mars is slated to butt heads with Pluto on the 24th, indicating a health or workplace power struggle. If a problem pops up, it’s sure to be a stubborn one; the best way to deal is by honoring each individual’s needs and wants without sacrificing your own. Watch out for drama involving travel, higher education, or religious institutions. Most of all, focus on your goals this month! Clarify your dreams and ambitions. The universe is on your side.

  • It’s eclipse season once again and, as a Moon-ruled Cancer, these turbo-charged lunations affect you pretty intensely! Two eclipses are slated to arrive this month, one in Pisces and one in Virgo; one a total Lunar eclipse, and one a partial Solar eclipse. Themes of travel and higher education, as well as your spiritual beliefs and experiences, will be in the spotlight, coaxing you towards their siren song. At the same time, you’ll feel called towards purging old behaviors and patterns related to communication, siblings, your neighborhood, and daily transit. Let’s dive in!

Before the eclipses actually hit, expect some tension involving home and family around the 4th. If anything happens, it could foreshadow something bigger, so keep that in mind as the first eclipse lands in Pisces on September 7th. This one is a giant karmic arrow pointing you towards something that feels fated, something that began last year around this time. Maybe you applied to grad school, booked a major overseas journey, or got really into tarot — whatever it was, an event, an experience, even just a simple idea, it’ll somehow pave the way for its next phase. Pay attention and listen to your intuition; this is a natural evolution, but it still needs you to move it forward. There’s so, so much cosmic support for whatever you choose to do, but it’s also incredibly important to stay grounded. Flights of fancy are one thing; banking your whole future on them is another. And schedule in the time and space to process any heavy emotions that pop up! While it’s a good thing, forward progress can be kind of heavy.

The next eclipse occurs in Virgo, a practical and analytical sign. This one will loop in topics such as learning, communication, vehicles, siblings/cousins, and your immediate surroundings. Even though it arrives on the 21st, you’ll begin to feel its vibes as early as the 13th when Mercury joins forces with the Sun to deliver an important message. This eclipse can introduce a major shift in how you engage with those aforementioned topics; it will also encourage you to shed old patterns and beliefs. The key lies in striking that delicate balance between maintaining your high standards while not being overly perfectionistic. It’s a reorganization, a restructuring; what can you let go of in order to make things better in those life areas? What can you release to invite something new into your life?

On the 22nd, Mars, planet of action and movement, enters Scorpio and your dating, pleasure, and creativity sector. Expect spice; expect drama; expect anger, initiative, and courage. (Mars is never boring!) This transit lasts several weeks; during that time, try your best to manage any anger or drama and instead focus on the energy aspect of it all. Roll up your sleeves and work on these life areas! Especially since Mars is slated to clash with Pluto on the 24th, indicating darkness, obsession, power struggles, and possible issues with shared resources, taxes, even an inheritance. You got this.

  • As eclipse season descends upon us once again, here are some things to think about: scarcity vs. abundance, feeling like the universe doesn’t have your back (but somehow also deeply believing it does), diving head-first into the darkness, and what you need in order to feel safe baring your soul to another human. (Casual!) At this point, these themes have been on your radar, in one form or another, for a long time. You’ve been going through a really intense period of growth (the cosmos has been pummeling you poor Leos!), one that seems deeply tied into finding peace in solitude (as well as a complete restructure of your relationships), and while this won’t last forever, it’s time for the next phase in the process.

Now for the details: on September 7th, the Pisces eclipse will hit your 8th house of shared resources, super-close bonds, death, and transformation. This is a North Node eclipse, meaning what it wants is to draw you closer to something, and as it’s a total Lunar eclipse, it’ll be pretty intense! Eclipses act as cosmic portals; for just a few moments, the Sun and Moon are unable to function normally, allowing something out of the ordinary to occur — something you might not have done or thought of on your own; something that will move the story forward. This is Chapter Two — the first Pisces eclipse in this series landed last September, so try to remember what was happening around that time because that was Chapter One. For many of you, this will be a financial story, especially if it involves inheritances, taxes, passive income, and/or and other people’s money (i.e. shared resources). Others may feel themselves called towards exploring darker, more taboo themes, or even engaging in an ultimate burn-it-all-down-and-rise-from-the-ashes personal transformation. Whatever it is, this Pisces eclipse will bring something fated into your life. It’ll likely be emotional (a Lunar eclipse is a turbo-charged Full Moon, after all), but the important thing to remember is that your emotions provide useful information. It’s also possible that siblings, travel, learning, communication, and/or your neighborhood become woven into this tapestry, especially around the 4th, dragging their consequences into the mix. Keep your head in the game. There will be a dreamy, otherworldly energy simultaneously floating around, so stay grounded.

The Virgo eclipse that drops on the 21st is thankfully not as intense, as well as fairly straightforward: this one is about money. It’s about resourcing. You’re in the process of restructuring and reorganizing this life area; keep in mind that “perfect” isn’t real. This is a South Node eclipse, indicating a big ole’ purge is in effect, so release what you know you need to let go of to make room for something better. Remember that feeling properly resourced also includes feeling safe and secure in all ways. Pay attention on the 13th for clues as to what this eclipse will bring — Mercury will hobnob with the Sun on that day and sparkly aha! moments will abound. On the 22nd aggressive Mars enters your home and family sector, so watch out for any tension over the next few weeks. This may also indicate buying or renovating a home, or any kind of home and family related action! However, Mars will clash with Pluto on the 24th, roping in a relationship or business partnership, and all parties involved will be stubborn. Good luck and get so much rest this month!

  • Money is the vibe this month, beginning on August 6th once Mars enters Libra and your 2nd house of finances and material possessions. Your current circumstances may feel a little…expensive, but you might just have to suck it up, buttercup, especially around the 8th once Saturn joins the chat. As the planet of limits and boundaries locks into a tense opposition to Mars — essentially staring him down like a sniper — you’ll seesaw between moving forward at full speed and reigning it in a bit, or at least imposing some order on your financial situation. Compromise, as well as structure and having a plan, are integral to avoiding the worst of this tension.

Meanwhile, August 9th’s Aquarius Full Moon illuminates work, everyday routines, and physical health, signifying a peak moment in these topics as well as the completion of a cycle. A Full Moon can often bring things to light (you know, that whole symbolic illumination), and since this particular one sits across from retrograde Mercury in Leo, it also opens up an interesting juxtaposition between ego and detachment, especially in relation to your physical and mental health. (Or your job. Especially if you’ve been feeling a little subservient lately.) Even if this energy weighs you down, you can use it to your advantage by understanding its purpose, which is balance. Work/life balance. The delicate balance of taking care of your physical form to promote a healthy psyche. The balance of what you want vs. what’s best for the whole crew. If any emotions arise, sit down with them. Remember, the Moon doesn’t cause feelings, it illuminates one that already exist. The good news is that Mercury stations direct just two days later, ending its backwards journey through your psyche and lightening your subconscious load a bit.

The 12th is the sweetest day of the month, featuring a conjunction between Venus and Jupiter, both in Cancer, where they’ve been busy pouring love into your friendships and communities. This is a lovely moment of togetherness; use it to call or visit a friend you haven’t spoken to in a while. You could also meet a potential romantic interest via your social circle. As the Sun enters Virgo on the 22nd, your astrological season officially begins! This is usually a time of increased confidence and vitality. The annual Virgo New Moon arrives the next day, providing an opportunity to finetune your life direction. A New Moon in one’s sign is potent and can be utilized in a variety of ways: the categories are purpose, identity, and embodiment. Why not jot down where you’d like to steer your life in the near future, debut a new look, or start that fitness routine you’ve been talking about? On the 25th, Venus will move into Leo and your 12th house, a transit that’ll fully bloom come September, but one that will gild the end of August just enough to provide some mental relief. Watch out for any relationship-related deceptions during this time, however — Venus will be hanging out in a secretive spot.

  • If everything feels super hectic and busy, blame the universe. If you’re recently embarking on a new health journey, thank the stars. And if you’ve been attempting to weave some more faith and flow into your everyday life, you’re doing it right! As eclipse season arrives once more, it’s time to examine your relationship with work, your daily habits, and the balance between control and surrender. These themes have been popping in and out of your life and psyche for over a year now, with the events of last September — which is when this particular eclipse series began — acting as an initiation of sorts. It’s now time for round two, and as September 7th’s total Lunar eclipse in Pisces lands in your work and health sector, you’ll be even more strongly prompted by the cosmos towards showing more compassion in the workplace (without acting like a martyr), realizing your rigid routine just isn’t it right now, and/or coming to terms with your health. (Pets may also be a theme. If you want one, it’s a good time to hit the local shelter!) It’s important to understand that these areas of your life (work, health, daily habits) are very Pisces-coded by design. You’re meant to have a flowier schedule, to feel like you’re being of service, to find grace in the day-to-day. Of course, that’s not always possible in this wacky world we live in, so release whatever image of daily perfection you have in your head and instead try to incorporate as much magic, spirituality, and dreaminess in your everyday life as possible. This eclipse may be emotionally intense, and as it’s hitting a very physical area of your chart, keep your schedule light. Also, keep an eye out for any work conflicts on the 4th — they could tie into the agenda of this eclipse!

Meanwhile, your thoughts are elsewhere this month. You may be having strange, even prophetic dreams, or simply feel like a giant space-case. Instead of ignoring your intuition, throw some effort towards understanding it better, especially around the 13th, which is an incredibly potent day for receiving messages in dreams or gaining insight into your subconscious mind. Once the Virgo Solar eclipse arrives on the 21st, it’s time to release secret fears and unconscious habits relating to perfectionism, overthinking, and an obsession with details. Purge your tendency towards using work as a tactic for self-isolation. Have some compassion for yourself; you truly don’t need to be flawless to be worthy. Try not to over-intellectualize unseen experiences and instead allow yourself to simply…have them. Mystery is an integral part of human existence.

Meanwhile, on the 22nd, Mars’s inflammatory presence moves on to your 2nd house of finances and material possessions. For the next several weeks, you could find yourself tossing or donating your stuff, chasing paper, or, conversely, spending more cash. Some expenditures are unavoidable; don’t spend rashly and keep track of everything. Mars is slated to clash with Pluto on the 25th, dropping some kind of power struggle involving money vs. kids, dating, and hobbies. (Are you spending too much on these things?) Power through, and good luck!

  • It’s time to get even more serious about your art, dating life, and whether or not you want kids. As eclipse season descends upon your 5th house of sexuality, creative expression, and children, you’ll feel an extra-strong karmic pull towards these topics. At the same time, there will be some limitations, but they’ll be familiar ones. The first of this month’s two eclipses arrives in Pisces on the 7th, ready to galvanize the aforementioned topics into something more solid and recognizable. Eclipses are structured in a series. The first one is an initiation; subsequent eclipses in the same sign move that brand-new story arc forward. Last September’s Pisces eclipse brought an influx of energy to your dating and artistic life, and this one is here to build upon whatever occurred last autumn. Did you embark on a sexual exploration “project?” Or maybe you dreamed up a weird idea for a new painting or record, or even decided you were ready to try for a baby. (Babies are associated with this sector of your chart as they are essentially a creative endeavor!) Whatever it was (and it may have only been the germ of an idea), it’s now calling your name. Loudly. How will you reply? This is a total Lunar eclipse, akin to a turbo-charged Full Moon, so be aware that a flood of emotions may be knocking at your door! Lunar eclipses can also signify endings and the completion of a cycle. If that’s the case, honor that and then let it go. Something new is on its way. To backtrack a couple of days, there is a bit of celestial tension on the 4th. As Mars clashes with Jupiter, an old fear may be reactivated; something involving travel or higher education is also indicated. It may tie into the eclipse, it may not. Still good to have a heads up!

The other life area that will be a major focus is friendship and community, mostly during the second half of the month. You’re in the slow process of releasing something related; perhaps it’s realizing you need to let go of an old friendship or that you’ve outgrown a once-beloved community or social circle. The Virgo Solar eclipse that will affect this life area drops on the 21st, but pay attention around the 13th for any foreshadowing in the form of auspicious messages or conversations. As this second eclipse does its thing, focus on purging That Which Does Not Serve™ (only you know what that is). Don’t let perfectionism stop you from action. There’s no magical future where you’ll finally be good enough. Release old subconscious patterns relating to overthinking, self-criticism, and rigid structure. A Solar eclipse is akin to a New Moon and promises a fresh beginning — keep that in mind as you release, release, release

Meanwhile, Mars enters your sign on the 22nd, bringing an increase of energy, anger, and inflammation. This transit will last several weeks, so if you feel yourself getting pissed off for no reason, relieve that excess Martial energy at the gym or (safely) break some shit. Watch out for the 24th when Mars clashes with Pluto, dragging you into familial power dynamics that you likely don’t want to be a part of. Happy September!

  • Happy eclipse season! September is a little intense, a little confusing, and a lot transformative. Eclipses come in pairs of opposite signs, and do their work via a sequence of two back-to-back eclipses every six months, for approximately 18 months. While that’s a little technical, what ends up happening is that, over the course of a year and a half, two major life areas are subjected to big-time change and transformation! This particular eclipse series kicked off last September — the events surrounding that time paved the way for what’s happening now. Only you know the specifics, but a seed was planted that is now bearing fruit. For you, the affected life areas are…drum roll please…home, family, and career. That’s big-league stuff, and as the second Pisces Lunar eclipse arrives on September 7th, things have begun to solidify. An example could be something like: discussing moving in with your partner a year ago, and now it’s actually happening. Or perhaps you made a decision to reconnect with your family, and now that’s actually happening. Real estate, exploring your ancestry, home renovations — all of those fall under the thematic umbrella of what’s in store. Now, this first eclipse is a total Lunar eclipse (read: intense, emotional, and signifying the end of an era), and has a sort of karmic…insistence to it. The thing is going to happen, even if you don’t exactly “feel” ready (do you ever feel ready, dear Sagittarius?!). As the day approaches, take stock of everything. There may be a tinge of grief mingling in with genuine excitement. Allow yourself to feel it. Properly mourn, and believe that you’re cosmically supported. And you actually are — Jupiter, literal planet of support and abundance, is positively affecting this eclipse. However, there’s a lot of watery energy afloat, so do your best to stay grounded. Also: don’t neglect your friends. There’s some tension involving friendship and community slated for the 4th, just before this eclipse lands (meaning it could be related).

Meanwhile, a lot of your spare mental energy is being spent thinking about your career. While the Pisces eclipse will bring a rush of energy towards something, the second eclipse, which occurs in Virgo on the 21st, is more interested in moving energy away. Real talk: what’s going on with your career right now? Are you restless, even passionless? The cosmos seems to think a change is in order, but for that to happen, you need to release old perfectionistic patterns, self-criticism, and (woof) overthinking. Pay attention around the 13th; as Mercury receives the Sun’s full power, messages relating to your path forward will be transmitted. And as the eclipse itself nears, sit down with yourself with the goal of sparking up some compassion for all you’ve been through and accomplished. Lean into the flow. Your next steps don’t have to be perfect; they just have to be. Your public image, what you want to be known for, that will happen in time. But right now? You need to let go of some shit.

On the 22nd, troublemaker Mars rolls into your 12th house of deep-seated fears and isolation. (Fun.) This could unleash some deeply repressed anger. Since this was cosmically planned, ask yourself: why do I need to be mad right now? (Hint: it’s probably because repressing anger is actually not that great for you.) Mental health-wise, the next several weeks may be a little tough. Remember, it’s just a transit and it too, shall pass. However, watch out for the 24th when Mars clashes with Pluto once again. Something involving siblings, communication, travel, or your neighborhood could upset the power balance.

  • Okay, Capricorn, what’s going on with your relationship to technology, writing, communication, your siblings (if you have them), short trips, and your neighborhood? The variety of topics governed by the 3rd house in your chart all essentially have one thing in common: they’re things and people you interact with every day, and they’ll be what’s most affected by September 7th’s Pisces total Lunar eclipse! Last September brought the very first Pisces eclipse in this all-new series; something occurred around that time that planted a seed. Maybe it was a literal event or experience, or even just an idea, regardless of how it showed up in your life, it’s now time for it to become, let’s just say, a bit more real. This is eclipse is a little intense. It’s a Lunar eclipse (i.e. a very potent Full Moon), signifying big feelings and possible endings. It’s drawing you towards something. Something that feels karmic, even inevitable at this moment in time. If you’ve been planning a “mental” project (writing, starting a podcast, learning a new skill), it’s go time. Ditto if you’ve been considering reconnecting with a sibling or becoming a more active contributor to your neighborhood. If you have to let something die out to make space for this this new venture, grieve it and then release it. All of this is on the cosmic timetable; it’s important to remember that it’s all a product of your desires and choices. How beautiful is that? Let it simply…flow. (You got this.) Tension involving home/family or a romantic/business partnership may arrive on the 4th, just a few days before the eclipse arrives. It’s close enough to be auspicious, and whatever occurs could tie in. You can rely on support from your closest one-on-one partnerships, but be wary of over-sentimentality or dreaming a little too hard. Stay grounded; it’s doubly important at this time.

Then there’s the latter half of the month, which focuses on different, though slightly, similar topics. Long-distance travel, higher education, and your spiritual beliefs are part of this eclipse’s agenda. It lands in Virgo on the 21st, and as it’s a South Node Solar eclipse, it’s begging you to release something. While the Pisces eclipse is an influx of energy forward, this Virgo one is more about purging. That can feel scary; however, a Solar eclipse is akin to a very potent New Moon, and signifies a fresh start and planting new seeds. In order to do that, you need to let go of your tendencies toward overthinking, perfectionism, self-criticism, and needing to be in control all the time. (My condolences.) September 13th offers a little foreshadowing; keep your senses open to allow any clarifying messages to come through.

Meanwhile, on the 22nd, instigator Mars enters Scorpio and your friendship and community sector. This may signify a fight with a friend, or simmering resentment directed towards your extended social circle. It could also indicate spark, action, and courage. Watch out for the 24th when Mars butts heads with Pluto — money drama may come into play.

  • You’re in the process of restructuring your finances in order to create a more stable future — and September comes in hot with two back-to-back eclipses hitting both of your money sectors! The first, a total Lunar eclipse in Pisces, arrives on the 7th. Let’s backtrack a year, however, to last September. Eclipses unfold in a series, each occurring in two opposite signs of the zodiac over the course of 18 months. This means that every year-and-a-half, two different areas of your chart (and thus your life) undergo significant change and transformation. And last September is when the very first Pisces eclipse in this series took place, in your financial sector, initiating something having to do with money, resources, and possessions. Perhaps it was an event, an idea, an experience — whatever occurred, a seed was planted, one that slowly began to create change. And now, as you await this second Pisces eclipse, that growing seed will enter the next phase of its gestation, solidifying things even further and propelling the story forward. That’s the gist of what you’re about to experience, and it could be intense as this is a total Lunar eclipse, indicating high emotions, illumination, and an ending of some kind. It’s also very karmic; the events or thoughts you experience will propel your financial reality in a new direction. This could all play out on a purely earthly, material-world level: a new job with a higher salary, paying off old debt, releasing toxic financial entanglements, etc. However, there’s also a deeper layer underneath all the straightforward financial stuff. That’s because the issue of money, possessions, and the material world in general, is really about security and self-worth. This eclipse will clear some space for soul evolution — to align your efforts with creativity and compassion and not just practicality. There’s also some celestial tension on the 4th, which may involve work, health, travel, higher education, and/or spirituality, that could also tangle itself up with the themes of this eclipse!

By contrast, the Virgo Solar eclipse of the 21st wants you to remember that you are supported. You are not defined by your bank account or “material worth.” It wants you to release any perfectionistic, overthinking, self-critical tendencies that are blocking your literal and figurative growth. It’s also a hard reset around shared resources, intimacy, trust, and transformation. Are you a control freak about these things? It’s a ripe time for shadow work, so grab some paper, make a list of all your fears, and then burn it. A new beginning is on the horizon, but first you need to make space. There’s a preview of what could transpire on the 13th; as Mercury kisses the Sun, look out for any relevant, clarifying messages or conversations.

Meanwhile, Mars, planet of action and aggression, enters your career sector on the 22nd, indicating a spate of new energy (or conflict) in that life area. This energy will last for several weeks, so make the most of it by avoiding drama and focusing on bold career moves instead. Watch out for the 24th — as Mars clashes with Pluto, stubborn power dynamics at work may crop up. Don’t let yourself get roped in if you can help it…you’ve got enough going on.

  • You’re the Fish of the Hour once more! Eclipse season has descended upon us again and you’re the one that’ll be hit most intensely. About a year ago, when this particular series kicked off with the very first eclipse in your sign, a seed was planted, one related to your identity, embodiment, and overall life direction. To keep it simple: you’re deep in the process of transformation, and it’s been hard, scary, torturous, and beautiful all at once. You won’t have another transit like this for a long, long time, so surrender and simply flow. (That being said, my sympathies.) Meanwhile, as you transform every aspect of your being, relationships have been a major area of growth and change. So: as you swirl around this identity-shifting era of your life, you’re simultaneously releasing old, subconscious, super unhelpful partnership patterns. There’s also some cosmic tension slated for the 4th involving dating, pleasure, creative output, and kids (if you have them), as well as a possible money/shared resources issue. It’s a standalone transit, but its effects could trickle into the Pisces total Lunar eclipse on the 7th! This eclipse is intense. It’s a total Lunar eclipse, akin to a power-hungry Full Moon, and it’s ravenous, karmic, and confusing. The events (or conversations, thoughts, ideas) that occur at this time are meant to move that little seedling from last year into a big ole new terracotta pot. It has outgrown its old one. Emotions will be high and end-of-an-era vibes may nag at your psyche. Surrender to the flow. Embrace your intuition, creativity, and mysticality as an inherent part of your literal purpose here on Earth. Let it be confusing; let it be awkward. At the same time, stay grounded and don’t do anything too rash. There’s a certain fogginess in the air.

Meanwhile, your mind (and heart) are unabashedly focused on relationships. This is a period of time during which you’re exploring who you are — romantically, sexually, and creatively — all the while clocking how it fits into your new world. And yet: so much trauma is absolutely begging to be released. Those old habits surrounding controlling and/or overanalyzing your relationships, self-criticism, and the desire to achieve the unachievable (i.e. “perfection”) need to go. How can the truest form of abundance enter your life if those subconscious patterns are blocking its flow? Also, you don’t need to define yourself through partnership. You just have to experience it. This is an eclipse about release, but it’s also a Solar eclipse (a turbo-charged New Moon), rife with opportunities for new starts and fresh beginnings. Let go and compassionately plan your future. No self-flagellation allowed.

But wait, that’s not all! On the 22nd, Mars, planet of action, aggression, and heat, moves into Scorpio and your 9th house of travel, higher education, expansion, and spirituality. These life areas will be set aflame for several weeks; interpret that how you will. Avoid any potential drama and get instead excited about exploring and growing. One day to watch out for is the 24th, when a Mars-Pluto tiff floods your psyche with lame fears and resentments. Vanquish them! Clean out that closet! But also rest. Lock yourself away if that’s what you need. I can’t wait to see the end result of your transformation.
