NOVEMBER 2025

  • With the exception of a select few days, the overriding theme of November is value. You’ll be asked to confront your personal values and self-worth. You’ll also be knee-deep in financial topics: what you earn and what you spend, as well as possessions, assets, shared resources, inheritances, grants, even taxes. The balance of tangible and intangible value will loom large — it may be a little heavy at times, but it’s important to come to terms with it. It all begins on November 5th with the Taurus Full Moon, which lands in your earned income and personal possessions sector. This Full Moon is linked to your committed partnerships (including business partnerships). Expect a powerful, yet supported and generally positive, emotional experience during this lunation. Real-life financial events may arise, but for many of you, the energies of this Full Moon will manifest internally. Take some time to focus on what makes you feel secure. You’re uniquely rooted to the tangible world, building security through steady effort and by cultivating what you truly value, with a natural instinct for stability and comfort. The flip side, however, is that you deeply resist change in this life area. Change is coming however, and this Full Moon wants you to anchor yourself to the material world…before the rest of the month tests your financial boundaries. Meditate on all you’ve gained and accomplished; try to make yourself believe that worth isn’t just measured through material gain.

On the 6th, Venus enters Scorpio and your shared resources sector. Unexpected financial blessings may occur. You’ll also feel superclose to your loved ones, eschewing boring small talk for deeper conversations. On the 19th, retrograde Mercury joins Venus, placing your heart and mind on the same page, with an added dose of Mercury retrograde revisiting, rethinking, and reevaluating. This would normally be a good time to invest or apply for loans or grants; while you can still do that, expect delays or confusion due to Mercury retrograde tangling up the red tape! November 20th delivers a very potent Scorpio New Moon, one with important, possibly destabilizing, messages to deliver. It’s a lesson on surrender; that not all value is visible and that sometimes, losing something external is what awakens your internal power. Trust is a key theme. Try to balance holding on with letting go. Merge with others from a place of strength. Let your values be alchemized via your emotional and financial entanglements. You’ll also be called towards facing life’s deeper mysteries: death, intimacy, loss, and rebirth. What lies beneath the surface will have an intense lure at this time!

As for the rest of the month, it centers on themes of religion, higher education, travel, publishing, and adjusting your personal life philosophies. Expect a surprise within these topics on the 4th, followed by a period of reflection. On the 12th, Mars meets Mercury in overly-honest Sagittarius; expect possible educational or travel disruptions, and try not to put your foot in your mouth. Good luck! It’ll be an intense, but perfectly timed and transformative November.

  • November is an intensely transformative month and, for you, the catalysts for change all lie within your closest one-on-one relationships. As the only fixed Earth sign, you move through life with intention and prefer to root yourself before taking action. Your path is one of embodiment: of learning and experiencing through the senses, while nurturing a deep sensitivity to beauty, comfort, and peace. Meanwhile, your karmic challenge is to avoid stagnation or an excessive attachment to safety. As you maneuver through this month’s astrology, remember that slow growth can be sacred growth. It all kicks off on November 5th with the Taurus Full Moon, a lunation that directly affects your embodiment and life direction. Use this moment to ground your identity through physical and emotional security…before the rest of the month shakes everything up! Clearly delineate your current values, congratulate yourself on your journey so far, and do something that bolsters your self-worth. This day is about you. The following weeks will fully center around others, so use this moment intentionally!

The very next day, Venus moves into Scorpio and your 7th house of partnerships, romantic or otherwise. This is a perfect time to focus on your closest relationships. Partnerships for you are never light; they’re portals of transformation that can feel fated, even all-consuming. Through them, you learn about trust, vulnerability, and the balance of power. As the universe beams its energy on these themes, it’s important to truly learn through experience how real intimacy requires you to release control. To merge without losing yourself in the process; to work through jealousy, possessiveness, and fear of loss. Relationships are mirrors that reflect what you resist or desire within yourself, and long-buried emotions will slither through your psyche like a serpent. As Mercury retrograde joins the Scorpio fun on the 19th, you’ll also be revisiting the past: former flames and old wounds may pop up, but mostly you’ll just be reevaluating your relationship patterns. November 20th’s Scorpio New Moon will likely be the most intense day of an intense month, swooping in to deliver a surprise or important message (or both). A New Moon offers a fresh beginning, so aim to balance peace with passion, stability with transformation, and independence with union. Let relationships deepen you, not destabilize you! Even with all the relationship energy swirling around, due to Mercury retrograde, it’s not the absolute best time to start a new one. If you can, wait until after the 29th once Mercury stations direct. If that’s not in the cards, focus on slow growth. However, the 25th is an excellent day to text your crush or communicate something important to a loved one.

The rest of November features pockets of financial energy, specifically via shared resources, grants, inheritances, and taxes. You’ll also be rethinking your approach to not just money, but the balance between tangible and intangible value. Watch out for inflammatory financial experiences around the 12th, when Mercury slams into aggravator Mars. You’ll be tempted to lash out, but keep a leash on what you say, think, and write. It’s a time for strategy, not rash words or decisions that may have long-standing effects.

  • November’s astrology is very cluster-y, focusing on one major life area with a couple of others thrown in for a (comically insufficient) semblance of balance. For you, the dominant themes will be work, health, and daily routine. (If you have any pets, they could be a focus too!) That could manifest in a myriad of ways, but I do believe work-life balance and managing your schedule in a way that supports optimal mental health will be one of them. On the 5th, the Taurus Full Moon lands in your 12th house of isolation, dreams, and the subconscious. This sector of your chart is one the most mystical and psychologically complex, governing all that is unseen or repressed — i.e. anything out of the realm of ordinary consciousness. Since a Full Moon illuminates the darkness, this one could imbue a more acute awareness of your own shadow; hidden fears, resentments, or other repressed aspects of your psyche will arise. This is the only celestial event that will occur in this area of your chart this month, but I encourage you to engage with its energies in order to clear out whatever psychic cobwebs you can. Some more mundane topics that may pop up include seclusion, surrender, and/or something going on behind the scenes.

November 6th marks Venus’s foray into Scorpio and those aforementioned work and health themes. There is a lot going on here throughout the month, which can be tough to interpret, but you can expect a bundle of related events within those topics. Venus creates beauty, unity, and value, and things may go more smoothly in the workplace for a while. Alternatively, you could be pulled towards taking better care of yourself. (Also, keep an eye out for workplace romance…) Towards the latter half of November, retrograde Mercury joins the Scorpio party, indicating tech issues, miscommunications, and delays. It’s a time of reevaluating your work and health, so don’t be surprised if certain things happen to help that along! Expect an important message to arrive during the Scorpio New Moon on the 20th, possibly one bearing a big surprise. This is an intense New Moon, so make room for it. (This is where getting your mental health in order earlier in the month will come in handy.) On the 25th, schedule a nice message or have a deep conversation with a loved one. One more thing: contending with inner rebellion or feeling like you don’t belong, especially at work, is a huge vibe this month. Be authentic.

Now, for the relationship stuff! On the 4th, Mars enters your 7th house of committed partnerships, bringing heat but also drama. It’ll be spicy, but separations may occur. Right off the bat, Mars will encounter a Uranus-linked surprise, even a sudden desire to liberate yourself from a partnership. You’ll also be rethinking your relationships a lot this month, perhaps engaging in some Big Talks or discussing the future. Watch out for verbal spats around the 12th. You don’t want to say anything you don’t actually mean in the heat of the moment — it will likely have lasting effects!

  • The astrology of November focuses heavily on your romantic and creative life (as well as children if you have them)! Almost all of the celestial activity will center on your 5th house of dating, sex, pleasure, and creative output, so expect a series of related events within those topics. This kind of astrological single-mindedness often manifests as an initially confusing yet ultimately clarifying period of time, so keep that in mind! On November 5th, the Taurus Full Moon will kick things off, illuminating your friendship and community sector to deliver an emotional internal message (i.e. a knowing). While this lunation itself is actually kind of chill, it offers a chance to look within to root out any friendship or social circle imbalances — especially as they relate to your romantic life. You may also experience an “end-of-an-era” feeling, which can be heavy, so schedule in some rest or sensual delight at this time. (Bake some yummy seasonal goodies to share with friends!)

On the 6th, Venus, symbol of love, value, and beauty, enters Scorpio and your aforementioned dating and pleasure sector. You’re already kind of intense about these things, but Scorpio Venus is extra intense, so expect transcendent nights and obsessive days over the next few weeks. This is “I will plumb your soul” energy; just roll with it. The second half of the month, however, ramps up the heat…and the chaos. On the 19th, retrograde Mercury also enters Scorpio, causing miscommunications, delays, and/or romantic reevaluations. It’s not a great time to start up anything new, but it is ideal for hammering out boundaries and expectations. Listen to your heart. If you’re artistically inclined, tap into the darkest corners of your psyche for inspiration. Get deep! November 20th’s Scorpio New Moon offers a fresh start in all things love and sex. Both Mercury and Uranus are deeply involved in the agenda of this New Moon, so prepare yourself for a powerful message or even a major surprise. On the 25th, Mercury teams up with Venus to facilitate even more insights and deep conversations. (If you’ve been wanting to try dirty talk…this is the time.) Additionally, as all these things unfold, you may be feeling rebellious or like an outsider amidst all this concentrated activity. Let yourself be a weirdo. It’s actually very important inner work. (Again, if you have children, this may apply to your relationship with them instead of your romantic life!)

Meanwhile, the rest of the month will highlight work, health, and your daily routines. Illness or minor injuries may pop up, as well as workplace conflicts after the 4th as inflammatory Mars enters your work/health sector. Try to positively channel this energy by putting more effort into exercise or revamping your supplement cabinet; show more initiative and passion at work. Mercury retrograde will also affect these life areas, especially early in the month, so watch out for tech issues and impenetrable red tape. Verbal or written aggressions will be in the air around the 12th; you can’t control what others think and say, but you can be mindful of your own words. This is happening in extremely frank Sagittarius, so expect someone to put their foot in their mouth!

  • It’s an extremely home-and-family centered month for you. The majority (like, nearly all) of November’s astrology lands in your ancestral 4th house, which governs not just your literal house and family members, but your roots: where you come from. This sector of the chart also influences your sense of safety and security and represents your most private self, i.e. who you are behind closed doors. Absolutely anything falling under that thematic umbrella is fair game this month, but even if nothing too eventful happens, you’ll definitely be a homebody for the next few weeks! It all starts on the 5th with the Taurus Full Moon, which falls in your 10th house of career aspirations and visibility and delivers an opportunity to ground yourself in your goals and figuring out how you want to be seen…before you go into hiding for the rest of the month. This will be a supportive, fairly chill Full Moon, so consider how to reshape your legacy into something that better suits your current evolution. You may have to let something go, which can be emotional, but one amazing about this lunation is how earthy it is: temper the vibe with a walk in nature, or grab some expensive wine/baked goods and cuddle up at home. And keep in mind that this Full Moon is meant to prepare you for all the upcoming home and family activity in some way!

The very next day, Venus moves into Scorpio and your aforementioned 4th house. For the next several weeks, you may be hyper-focused on redecorating your home, obsessively scrolling Zillow, or even deep-diving into healing ancestral trauma. (You could say it’s a spectrum…) It’s also a really cute time to host a dinner party at your place! One major theme this month is feeling like the black sheep of your family; of being unable to come to terms with how different you are from everyone else, and of wanting to rebel against that feeling. If that strikes a chord, allow yourself to really feel it. Don’t relegate it to your shadow. It’s part of your ancestral heritage. (Something that may be helpful is researching your family history to find an ancestor you actually relate to.) The second half of November is when the action picks up, starting on the 19th when retrograde Mercury enters Scorpio to help you reevaluate how you feel about, and interact with, your home and family. This is not the best time to buy a house (or do anything involving a legal contract, wait until next month for all that), but feel free to root out what needs to be fixed or updated. November 20th’s Scorpio New Moon is kind of intense. New Moons offer new beginnings, but this one will also bring an unexpected message or surprise. Expect emotionally-fueled insights about home, family, and ancestry. (If you’re into ancestor veneration, it’s an excellent dark moon for it.) The 25th brings a Mercury-Venus collab, so if you need to have a difficult convo (especially with a family member), you’ll have the full support of the universe.

Aside from all that, November contains a few pockets of romance and pleasure! Once Mars enters Sagittarius and your 5th house on the 4th, expect a steamier sex life with a touch of…weirdness. A surprise or sudden shake-up in your dating or creative life is also in store on that day. Additionally, watch out for conflicts or separations. Mercury retrograde will also cruise through Sagittarius during the first half of the month, meaning romantic miscommunications, mix-ups, or delays are possible. You could be rethinking a situationship. (This also applies to parent-child dynamics!) Watch your mouth on the 12th — Mercury teaming up with Mars in Sagittarius could mean putting your foot in your mouth. However, if you need to summon the bravery for a tough convo, this energy helps.

  • Communication, learning, and connection are November’s biggest themes, highlighting the importance of new perspectives and intellectual clarity. Most of this month’s celestial activity occurs in obsessive Scorpio, wrapping your 3rd house (which governs the above topics, as well as siblings/cousins, short trips, and your immediate environment) in its penetrative energy. Prepare for info deep dives (bonus points for taboo subjects), reconnecting with your neighborhood, or initiating new writing, tech, or podcast projects! Before you get into all that, however, November 5th’s Taurus New Moon wants you to get grounded in your highest ideals. This Full Moon is important in a very specific way — it occurs opposite to all the Scorpio action, hinting that you can’t move forward in all of those “smaller” ideas without connecting them to your overall life philosophy (whether that’s spiritual in nature or not). Higher education plays a role here too, so if you need to learn something big before forward movement, now’s the time! Full Moons can also bring closure of some kind, which can be heavy. Thankfully, this one is steeped in earthiness, so if you’re feeling off-kilter, a walk in nature or indulging in your seasonal artisan beverage of choice will go a long way.

On the 6th, Venus enters Scorpio, a planetary shift that will direct your loving attention towards those aforementioned 3rd house topics. Scorpio Venus is broody, intense, and deep — you’ll find yourself adopting those characteristics more than usual at this time. The action ramps up towards the latter half of the month, however, with most of the excitement clustered around the 18th through the 20th. At that time, retrograde Mercury also enters Scorpio, insinuating that there’s some unfinished business involving communication, learning, siblings, everyday transit, and your neighborhood. November 20th’s Scorpio New Moon is arguable the most intense day in an intense month, promising important insights and messages, with a side of unexpected events! There’s something messy in your life that not only needs reevaluation, but clarification…and possibly an exit strategy. The entire month seems to lead up to this moment, so listen to your intuition but don’t make any rash decisions — instead, employ the most powerful gifts Scorpio has to offer: those of regeneration and transformation. You may also be feeling a bit “other,” rebellious, and restless. If so, simply accept it — all of it. As Mercury conjoins Venus on the 25th, schedule an important heart-to-heart (or flirt outrageously). Any endeavor involving words or communication will go more smoothly on that day!

There are several days this month that focus on something other than all of the above: home and family. On the 4th, Mars moves into Sagittarius and your ancestral 4th house to energize (or inflame) its topics. You may be moving house, arguing with a family member, or simply throwing more energy into your home — the specifics are unique to your life! (Expect a surprise around this time…) Mercury retrograde will touch upon these life areas earlier in the month as well, so keep an eye out for snafus or issues on the home front. Words will become weapons on the 12th as Mercury teams up with Mars, causing verbal (or text) spats or harsh thoughts. Any related drama should lesson by the end of the month, however!

  • Your birthday season has wrapped up, and now you’re thinking about…money. Before I get into it, I’d like you to think about something very specific: where has your sense of value been conditioned by others, especially surrounding how you earn and spend your money? Are you feeling a surge of rebellion against any external definitions of worth you’ve been forced to measure yourself against? This month’s astrology seeks to teach you how to achieve financial independence on your own terms, and in order to do that you have to seek and destroy the root of your scarcity mentality. Most of the cosmic activity occurs in obsessive, penetrative Scorpio and your 2nd house of earned income and possessions — it kicks off, however, with November 5th’s Taurus Full Moon, which urges you to release and renew outdated patterns involving shared resources and intimacy. This Full Moon is a bit of a contradiction; it’s in earthy Taurus, a grounded sign that seeks stability, yet occurs in the sector of your chart that oversees transformation, renewal, and trust. Debts, both financial and karmic, will be a theme, as well as stagnant security vs. scary surrender. Feel the energy of this lunation with an open heart — it has the capacity to be very healing once you push through the discomfort. Reclaim your sovereignty in physical ways: touch grass, get a massage, make a homemade meal. It’s important to work through anything that pops up because the rest of this month is geared towards trusting that you’ll be provided for.

On the 6th, Venus, symbol of love and value, moves into Scorpio to help beautify your finances. The next few weeks are a lovely time to make connections that will help bring in future income; collaborations may also occur. (Venus loves a partnership!) Look out for lucky breaks: a surprise bonus or beefy check could arrive. Spend some time going through your things: toss or donate anything old or outdated and invest in some new, beautiful pieces. Clean up your Quickbooks account. You get the picture. Do this stuff early because the second half of the month is a little more financially dramatic. On the 19th, retrograde Mercury enters Scorpio to help you reevaluate and restructure your finances. Expect minor delays, hiccups, tech issues, and/or miscommunications, but don’t stress too much — Mercury will station direct on the 29th. You’ve been doing all this work to prep for the next day’s Scorpio New Moon, which provides a fresh monetary opportunity. This New Moon, however, is quite dramatic; don’t be surprised if something extremely unexpected or destabilizing occurs, and keep an eye out for any deep messages or insights, especially as they relate to securely supporting yourself. You could receive some positive financial news on the 25th; it’s also a perfect day to text your crush, flirt your heart out, or send your lover a sweet message.

There are several non-financial things to talk about, too! You could receive a major surprise on the 4th, especially one relating to communication, learning, short trips, or a sibling. In fact, you’ll be pouring more energy than normal towards these topics all month! Register for a fun new course, start a writing project, text your sister — just watch out for any challenges or arguments. And be super careful driving, you’ll be more prone to accidents or car trouble for a short while. The 12th brings a Mercury-Mars collab, which could mean verbal or text fights or being courageous about a writing or public speaking project. If you manage to not put your foot in your mouth that day, you’ll be way ahead of the game.

  • It’s finally your astrological season, and boy, what a season it is! One thing’s for sure: you’ll be very busy. This is a month of rebirth and regeneration, themes that, as a Scorpio, you’re on intimate terms with. Most of the celestial activity occurs in your sign, indicating an identity-redefining era of your life. Before all that transformation is underway, however, the Taurus Full Moon of November 5th will turn your focus to your closest relationships. Taurus is a sign that doesn’t like change; and as the ruler of your 7th house of partnerships, it predetermines your tendency to choose safety over uncertainty when it comes to relationships. While there’s nothing wrong with that, the threat of stagnation looms. Relationships are mirrors, as well as catalysts for personal growth. Who you spend the majority of your time with will absolutely have an effect on your personal development! During this Full Moon, expect relationship truths to come to light. You may feel called towards redefining boundaries or desires, or to let go of certain partnerships or patterns. Emotional clarity surrounding how to best feel stable and supported will arrive. It’s all about ensuring your own personal development; in order to do that, you have to feel grounded in your partnerships.

On the 6th, Venus moves into Scorpio, filling the next few weeks with love, art, and readjusting your values. You’ll be extra magnetic; it’s also an excellent time for beauty treatments and new clothes. Use this time to tweak your aesthetic — have fun with it, Venus is on your side! The intensity thickens considerably towards the second half of the month, beginning on the 18th as retrograde Mercury enters Scorpio, bringing tech issues, miscommunications, and general tomfoolery with it. This Mercury retrograde, however, you’ll be thinking about who you were vs. who you’re becoming. It can be tough to let go of past versions of oneself, and while you’re not overly sentimental, you are a bit stubborn. The only one that can make you release your grip on something is…you. Reclaim your right to exist exactly as you are, without apology or dilution. It’s time to be unfiltered, uncompromising, and real. Grounding practices are a godsend. The Scorpio New Moon of November 20th will help you implement all this change, but it will feel rebellious or destabilizing. Surprises, as well as deep insights, are on the agenda. The 25th is a day to revisit your values; as Mercury joins forces with Venus, a flirty (or lucky) message will be delivered.

The rest of this month’s astrology will focus on finances. Mars, planet of action and aggression, enters your 2nd house of income and possessions on the 4th, indicating increased expenditure or frustrations surrounding your personal resources. This day may also bear a surprise or strange event. All things financial are also being reevaluated, especially earlier in the month. It’s not the best time to begin any new money-making ventures — wait until Mercury stations direct on the 29th! You could receive annoying financial news on the 12th (it’s also possible you, or someone you know, really puts their foot in their mouth). Try not to say anything too rash. Prevention is the best cure (for drama).

  • This month drags you into the depths of your subconscious, a psychologically intense and alchemizing journey meant to help you release and purify those hidden aspects of your psyche that drag you down when you least expect it. Most of November’s astrological activity occurs in your 12th house, a sector of the chart that governs dreams, endings, isolation, and anything hidden out of plain view. It may feel daunting, but it’s been a slow burn and you’re now ready to fully engage. Focus on shadow work and emotional catharsis; allow yourself to withdraw in order to do this important work. Some of what comes up for you could be related to health or the workplace, especially once the Taurus Full Moon arrives on the 5th. This lunation is grounding and steady, illuminating how and why you allow certain facets of those topics to stagnate. This is one part of your life where you don’t welcome change, and you can be quite stubborn about your daily routines and habits. You prefer to indulge; maybe that’s not exactly working out for you anymore. Or perhaps you’re so deeply bored with your job that it’s driving your anxiety through the roof — whatever it is, use this Full Moon to fully ground yourself in these emotions. If you don’t embody them, they will only haunt you. Making them more real is a catalyst for real change. (Of course, you can also choose to simply accept this part of you.)

On the 6th, Venus enters Scorpio to bring your secret fears desires surrounding love and relationships to the forefront. This is a behind-the-scenes Venus, causing you to feel extra closed-lipped about your private life, but beware of obsessing or wallowing in fear. You could discover something previously hidden…conversely, you may be the one doing the hiding. This energy intensifies towards the second half of November. As Mercury retrograde enters Scorpio and your 12th house on the 18th, your mind will turn inward, rooting out long-buried memories and emotions. Your dreams may be wildly revealing at this time; journaling and shadow work are the best remedy to scare away the heebie-jeebies. Strange, mystical thoughts and situations may arise, and your intuition will sharpen, especially around the Scorpio New Moon of November 20th. This New Moon is keen on delivering messages and insights; for you, these will emerge from the deepest recesses of your psyche. Expect a surprise, even anxiety — mind your sleep hygiene and talk to a trusted friend if things become too intense. You may find reprieve around the 25th as Mercury conjoins Venus to ease your mind; however, a newly-revealed romantic secret is also possible.

All of this is doubly potent because Mars, the planet in charge of Scorpio and thus all of this action is in Sagittarius — your sign. That means that anger and resentment are closer to the surface, but so are action, initiative, and courage. Watch out for accidents and injuries, especially on the 4th when Mars opposes Uranus, bringing a surprise or sudden shake-up. On a different note, make sure you know who you are. All of this strange and mysterious energy can be deeply ungrounding, so redefine your identity in the face of whatever uncertainty you’re facing. You have control over yourself. On the 12th, Mercury slams into Mars, bringing possible verbal or text arguments, even slander — watch what you say and don’t be too offended if others run their mouth. (Just blame Mars.) The good news is that Venus enters Sagittarius on the 30th, closing out the month on a good note! You’ll be extra hot and charming come December.

  • Most of the celestial activity this month occurs in Scorpio and your collective 11th house, meaning friendship and community are the major themes this month. With so much conflicting energy swirling about, it may be tough to make sense of everything: will you experience friendship drama or breakups, expand your social circle, or simply spend more time with those dearest to you? (It depends.) Regardless of how it plays out, it begins with November 5th’s Taurus Full Moon, which lands in your dating and romance sector to highlight the current juxtaposition between your love life and friendships…two life areas you can be pretty intense about! This lunation will help you emotionally process the journey of creating stability or security within your love life, creative endeavors, or children (if you have any). Pat yourself on the back; you’ve been through it. If that doesn’t ring true, focus on grounding and embodiment. The dominant vibe is sensual fulfillment: touch grass, snuggle in bed, order dessert — you’ll find these activities extra pleasurable during this Full Moon! It’s important to anchor yourself to reality at this time — to create a home base within yourself. There’s a side quest that will play out alongside everything else throughout the month, and it entails moving through some of your deepest, more repressed fears and emotions. Understanding that you’re supposed to work through those at this exact moment in time may help provide enough context to help untangle your psyche!

On the 6th, Venus moves into Scorpio to rain some love and beauty on your friendships. The next few weeks are a lovely time to schedule friend dates or check in with someone you’ve been meaning to text. If you’re looking to expand your social circle (or ask out a cute friend…), now is the time! However, there’s a depth to this transit that can manifest as obsession or paranoia. While it’s unlikely, you could even acquire a secret enemy this month! This energy revs up towards the second half of November, especially once retrograde Mercury also enters Scorpio on the 19th. You may feel called towards reevaluating certain friendships; mishaps and miscommunications will be more likely. If you’ve been feeling outcast-y and like you’ll never fully belong anywhere, tend to your shadow. Authenticity is freedom; your literal identity and role within your community is not taboo. The Scorpio New Moon of the 20th offers a reset in this life area; expect a surprise or important message to come through. It’s an intense lunation, so if you’re feeling emotionally hungover, you should feel better by the 25th. (That’s also the best day of the month to text your crush.)

To circle back to the whole hidden fears theme, that really pops off at the beginning of the month, specifically the 4th when Mars enters your 12th house of the subconscious only to immediately encounter Uranus. Unstable mental health is the thing to watch out for that day. And watch out for surprise endings. (You’ll feel better by the 29th.) On the 12th, your thoughts could spiral out of control — keep a tight leash on the situation and schedule some rest.

  • If you’ve been biding your time, waiting to make some big career moves, November could speed up the timeline. The bulk of the action clusters around your 10th house of career and honors; it’ll be eventful, exciting, and probably a little stressful! Before all of that starts to go down, however, it’s time to anchor yourself to home and family. November 5th’s sensual, earthy, stable, and grounding Taurus Full Moon provides an opportunity to do just that. It’s a chill vibe, with the only real caveat being the extent to which it highlights the contrast between your private and public life! Full Moons symbolize illumination, completion, and peak activity — perhaps you’re moving, buying, renovating, or redecorating your home, or, conversely, spending more time with immediate family (or analyzing Ancestry.com results). Whatever it is, it’s important to root yourself in who you are and where you come from in order to better decide where you’re going. This lunation is also lovely for simply enjoying small sensual pleasures like fresh clean sheets, the aroma of cookies baking, or the crunch of autumn leaves underfoot. Take advantage of it!

On the 6th, Venus, planet of love and value, moves into Scorpio to sprinkle her magic onto your career sector. Over the next several weeks, you may find yourself getting more attention at work, forming bonds and collaborations (Venus loves a partnership), even sparking up a workplace flirtation! Make your most important moves early in the month, because on the 19th, retrograde Mercury also enters Scorpio, initiating a short period of time characterized by tech issues, missent emails, and delays. Try to step back, retrace your steps, and plan your next moves instead. If you’ve been feeling rebellious about anything work-related, or like your colleagues will never accept you for are, this month encourages you to do some shadow work around those emotions. Authenticity is magnetic; you’ll shine brightest when you honor your true self and unique brilliance. The Scorpio New Moon of November 20th delivers an opportunity to start fresh in some way within your career. The energy during this lunation is kind of wild; it’s surprising and somewhat destabilizing. Expect the unexpected while keeping your eyes and ears peeled for any powerful messages or insights. The 25th features a cute Mercury-Venus conjunction with the potential to boost your reputation; it’s also a favorable time for salary negotiations! (Or finally asking out your work crush…) The tail end of November will be intense, but not necessarily overly dramatic. (I mean, you do you.)

There’s also some simultaneous activity within your friendship and communities, beginning on the 4th as Mars enters Sagittarius and your collective 11th house. Bookmark that day as one that will bring a surprise (and not necessarily a good one). Mars transits are a crapshoot; you could be arguing with friends or spending more time with them! You’ll also be rethinking this life area, especially during the first half of November. Watch out for verbal (or text) spats on the 12th as Mercury clashes into aggressive Mars. If anything inflammatory occurs with your friends this month, it should ease by the 29th!

  • Your understanding of truth, belief, and meaning will undergo deep transformation this month. The sign of Scorpio is November’s major celestial hotspot, and as the planets do their thing, your expansive 9th house (which governs spirituality, higher education, publishing, and long-distance journeys) will be directly affected. Before that happens, however, November 5th Taurus Full Moon will serve as a reminder that the big things are actually made up of all the little things. For example, most life-defining spiritual or religious experiences are built from the ground up via daily devotional practices, you can’t apply to grad school without first having learned the basics, and you can’t change minds with your words unless you actually learn how to write. You’re naturally quite intense about these topics, and have likely experienced deep personal transformation through one (or all) of them; your immediate inclination will be to simply…jump. The Full Moon in earthy Taurus wants you to root yourself in your knowledge and local community. It wants you to touch grass and get some rest. To prepare for whatever comes next. You may feel compelled to journal or take a short trip; you could even finally grasp where you need to shift your everyday perception in order to finally accept truth. This all sounds very dramatic, but in actuality it’s a pretty chill Full Moon — it is, however, the precursor to more intense situations, so take the opportunity to ground and anchor.

Venus enters Scorpio and your aforementioned 9th house on the 6th, imbuing its themes with unity, beauty, and value. Your loving attention will turn towards personal expansion. (You could also meet a potential romantic partner at school or the airport lounge!) If you’ve been feeling attacked for your beliefs, it’s time to deal with that. There’s a spiraling shadow moving through these topics throughout the month; if you don’t check your own shadow and accept your authentic self, then who will?! Mercury retrograde enters the chat on the 19th, ushering in a more dramatic latter half of the month within these topics. You could be reevaluating your life philosophy; additionally, watch out for tech issue, miscommunications, or general tomfoolery when applying to schools or (especially) traveling. It’s not a great time to embark on anything new, but if you have no choice, make sure to triple check everything! November 20th’s Scorpio New Moon provides an opportunity to redefine your beliefs to better suit who you are at this juncture. This lunation is chock full of drama; expect a surprise and/or the arrival of powerful insights or messages. The 25th will act as a salve to any burns acquired earlier in the month; you may receive some kind words on this day.

The rest of November’s astrology centers on your career. Early in the month, on the 4th, Mars enters Sagittarius to energize your career sector…only to immediately encounter Uranus, planet of surprise and destabilization. Expect the unexpected.  Inflammatory workplace events (or thoughts) are possible; you may simply just be pouring more energy into your career ambitions. The 12th features a Mercury-Mars conjunction, i.e. harsh words, putting one’s foot in one’s mouth, and/or receiving bad news. Watch out for workplace slander. You can’t control other people’s actions, but you can manage your own.
