DECEMBER 2025

  • There are a lot of planets moving through Sagittarius this month and, while that sign’s jolly energy will keep things light for a while, they’ll eventually face the buzzkill rules and regulations of Saturn. Sagittarius presides over a very specific sector of your chart, one that influences topics such as long-distance travel, higher education, truth-seeking, and spiritual journeys. There will be a ton of activity there throughout the month, beginning right on the 2nd, a day with the potential to darkly transform your personal values. This could involve any of the topics mentioned above; it may also rope in relationship dynamics. Whatever occurs, a seed will be planted in those life areas, one that will influence the rest of the month. There’s a short reprieve on December 4th, however, as the chatty Gemini Full Moon shifts your focus towards siblings, communication, tech, and your neighborhood. Feel free to indulge in all of your varied, scattered interests, but try to align them to your higher values.

Things ramp up again on the 8th as aggressive Mars hits a rough patch, causing delays and blockages. You may feel the weight of your responsibilities holding you back from pursuing travel or furthering your education, a vibe that will morph into rebellious thoughts (or conversations) surrounding finances (especially any shared resources, taxes, grants, etc) by the 10th. Beware of get-rich-quick schemes around this time. Don’t lose faith, and tend to your fears. Your psyche has a way of simultaneously pushing them down while also exaggerating them (this will be especially prevalent around the 14th), but looking at them clearly is good for your mental health. The Sagittarius New Moon of the 19th will provide a fresh start with travel, higher education, and spiritual journeying. Try to do something intentional at this time: plan a trip (even if it’s just one state over), take an interesting class, head to your favorite church or temple. Watch out for related relationship or financial drama around the 21st — it’s Venus’s turn to run into Saturnian challenges, so make sure your antics align with your values and don’t degrade the integrity of your relationships. On the 24th, enjoy a dreamy date night but don’t get too carried away. As Venus dances with Neptune, creativity soars…and judgement plummets.

Let’s rewind to the 15th, which is when Mars moves into Capricorn to fire up your career moves. The next several weeks are a great time to strategize and plan for the long term. Pour energy into the future, but watch out for any workplace conflicts or interrupted plans. On the 24th, Venus join Mars to pave the way for collaborations and alliances. (You could also stumble across a work-related romance!) If you’ve been meaning to ask for a raise, the time is ripe.

  • December’s theme is financial connection and interplay — specifically within the context of your communities and friendships. The beginning of the month starts out subtle but strong: as Venus blows a kiss to transformative Pluto on the 2nd, plant the seeds for future business partnerships and positive financial change (especially with shared resources, grants, and monetary gifts). To further emphasize this theme, December 4th’s Gemini Full Moon illuminates your 2nd house of earned income and possessions to reveal the hidden internal truths that hinder your resourcing. This lunation wants you to socialize, mingle, and schmooze your way towards financial stability! On the 8th, action-oriented Mars clashes with stern Saturn, causing a block or hindrance surrounding shared resources, grants, gifts, and taxes, likely stemming from within your community or social circles. Saturn isn’t always a buzzkill, however — this planet also solidifies and structures, meaning something that has been brewing may finally materialize! On the 11th, chatty, tech-oriented Mercury enters the chat by moving into your shared resources sector to facilitate movement and commerce. This is an excellent time to write emails, apply for grants, and organize your books, as your mind will turn to these topics much more readily. The days leading up to the Sagittarius New Moon on the 19th may feel a little hazy and unclear; as you prepare to initiate a new financial phase, keep an eye out for anything that seems too good to be true. It could be legit, but it’s better to be sure. The New Moon itself will encourage you to stay positive and committed to growth and expansion. It’s a lucky one, and urges you to mine your neighborhood for opportunities! Keep the faith — some snafus may pop up after the New Moon, specifically around the 21st and the 30th, but they’ll only help you weed out any bad eggs.

The side quests this month involve partnership (romantic and business), as well as personal growth, travel, education, and expansion! December 6th and 7th both feature Mercury, which is hanging out in your committed partnership sector, pinging your extended community and immediate neighborhood, making it a ripe time for creating new romantic connections! (A romantic surprise may be in store around the 10th as well.) Even though the latter half of the month is dominated by financial themes, Mars, then Venus, begin to cruise through Capricorn and your 9th house of higher education, spirituality, and long-distance travel. A journey may be in the works — and you could meet someone new while you’re on it.

  • So much of the action this month centers on your closest relationships, especially romantic or business partnerships! It kicks off early: as connection-creating Venus interacts with transformative Pluto on the 2nd, the dynamic will be blessed with extra depth and intensity. How do your relationships encourage (or hinder) your personal growth? This may be on your mind during the Gemini Full Moon of December 4th. As the light of the Moon illuminates you, it’s time to take inventory on what types of relationships truly support who you are…as well as who you’d like to become. However, as Mars clashes with Saturn on the 8th, you could run into relationship blockages or snags, especially as they relate to your career ambitions. It’s important to be clear about your expectations, as well as what you’re willing to give as well as receive! Cozy (and flirty) fireside chats are on the agenda once Mercury enters your relationship sector on the 11th, unlocking several weeks of excellent communication and planning. The effect may be subtle, but it’s there. The middle of the month features several more relational moments, some of which may feel confusing or hazy. The romantic feel in the air is lovely, but make sure to anchor yourself in real life. The Sagittarius New Moon of the 19th lands smack dab in your committed partnership sector, allowing you to take stock of everything you’ve experienced in order to set intentions for a new phase of connection. You need a relationship that delivers growth and excitement, but that can often come hand-in-hand with unreliability. Remember: you can have a fun and stable partnership. It’s allowed! You can also arrive at some agreement between your career and romantic lives — both are important to you. After this New Moon, the cosmic energy of the ensuing days has the potential to rain on your parade, but it can also lay the groundwork for more structure and compromise between career and partnership. If the latter half of the month proves challenging, keep the faith.

Aside from all that, there are two days earlier in the month (the 6th and 7th) that are super good for anything involving communication, writing, or tech within the workplace. Use that energy to get things done! A workplace surprise is possible around the 10th, so watch for any destabilizing information or events that trigger sadness or anger. It’ll pass. There’s also some action within your 8th house of shared resources and other people’s money (think grants, monetary gifts, inheritances, even taxes) beginning on the 15th and lasting through the month. It’s a good opportunity to sort out your finances a bit. You could also feel a little more goth at this time. Just go with it.

  • The interplay between furthering your education (or life experience) and the workplace is super emphasized throughout December. On the 2nd, as Venus connects with transformative Pluto, give some thought as to how you’d like these life areas to change and develop. Venus represents love and beauty but also value, meaning it’s time to turn your loving attention towards these topics. How are they currently interacting with each other? An example could be the desire to update your skills so you can advance in your field; it may also mean traveling for work, or wanting to quit just so you can travel! (Your personal health and daily routines are also a factor.) The Gemini Full Moon of December 4th will serve to illuminate your innermost fears and anxieties (fun), but if you treat it as an opportunity to approach your fears with curiosity — to ask them, “hey, where are you coming from?” — it could be a really cleansing and helpful lunation. You may experience some unexpected challenges involving those aforementioned work/health themes on the 8th as action-oriented, inflammatory Mars clashes with Saturn. Saturn loves to say “no,” to deliver obstacles, delays, and extra responsibilities. While this may be the case for you at this time, Saturn is also the planet to turn to when you seek more structure and boundaries. (Maybe that trip to the Azores isn’t such a great idea at this time…) On the 11th, Mercury enters Sagittarius and your work- and health-oriented 6th house, causing it to be an extra chatty time within those topics. Use this time to catch up on emails and doctor’s appointments, and try to really think and plan any changes you’d like to make. The Sagittarius New Moon of December 19th offers a great opportunity to open up a new phase here, and it’s good to be mentally prepared before the New Moon assists you in becoming more emotionally prepared. Especially because, for several days after this lunation (and possible the rest of the month), you’ll likely feel a little annoyed and confused. Keep the faith. Look within. So many of the answers you seek lie within you. (Not all obviously…but you’d be surprised!) Stay grounded and if something seems too good to be true, dig a little deeper.

There’s also some relationship stuff popping up throughout the month. Early on, around the 6th and 7th, Mercury receives high fives from first Jupiter, then Saturn. The collective effect will encourage you to be more strategic and selective with who you date, as well as who you choose to form more committed partnerships with. Expect a surprise on the 10th stemming from your social circle — maybe a new love interest? A creative partnership? Who knows!! (Its source will be surprise-delivering Uranus after all…) After the 15th, a lot of action will enter your committed relationship sector. Think: extra spice and fun, arguments and breakups, but also unity and making up. It’s time to get really clear on what you want and need out of your closest partnerships. Don’t let the chaos consume you — you have the power to choose.

  • Your dating life is still a major theme this month, especially if we’re talking about shared resources and/or transformative internal journeys. (It’s an interesting juxtaposition between the lightest and darkest of topics…) It begins on the 2nd as Venus blows a kiss to dark and stormy Pluto, activating both relationship sectors and opening up the opportunity to make sure your values are in order.  Do you want casual, or do you want serious? If you’re currently dating someone, is it worth taking it further? December 4th’s Gemini Full Moon’s will illuminate your friendships and extended social circles — but it also highlights pleasure and creativity. This lunation is simultaneously laser-focused, but also all over the place. Themes of friendship and dating/creative output will intermesh; perhaps you’ll have a fun night out with friends during which you meet a new love interest (or the perfect lead singer for your band). It’s chatty, social, and expansive! Wherever you’re at within those topics, however, the 8th will deliver a tense confrontation between aggressive Mars and buzzkill Saturn. Maybe it’s time to hit the brakes on something, or perhaps your responsibility load is too much to even consider dating at the moment. Alternatively, a situationship could become more solid. Once Mercury enters Sagittarius and your pleasure-oriented 5th house on the 11th, it’s time to go off on flirtations (and dirty talk). Mercury is also tech-oriented; if you’re on the apps, you could experience better luck making connections! The days leading up to December 19th’s Sagittarius New Moon are a little less straightforward, and you may need more clarity.  The New Moon itself is very positive, fun-loving, and free-wheeling — while still offering a lovely opportunity to get your romantic ducks in a row. New Moons provide new beginnings, so look within to determine how you want to steer your dating life from this moment on! (This may also involve the arts or kids, if you have them.) On the 21st, it’s Venus’s turn to clash with Saturn; again, a blockage or more solid situation could land in your lap. The challenge will come from your 8th house of shared resources (including taxes, grants, passive income, and monetary gifts)…which may point to a moving-in-together situation, if we’re talking about your dating and sex life. Other ways this could manifest include a child moving back home or a creative and financial collaboration. Stay grounded at this time (actually, stay grounded during the whole month!); something may feel too good to be true, so make sure you do your research.

Earlier in the month, around the 6th and 7th, the action also homes in on your home life. As Mercury forms positive relationships with first Jupiter, then Saturn, you could receive good news. A career surprise may be in order on the 10th, however! You’ll be even busier after the 15th, especially when it comes to work and health. Mars and Venus will be in your 6th house, which is a mixed bag! Expect blessings and challenges. You won’t be bored this month, that’s for sure!

  • December’s main focus is the delicate interplay between home, family, and your closest relationships. The ball gets rolling early; as Venus exchanges flirty texts with transformative Pluto on the 2nd, consider how to beautify and harmonize your living space or situation…while keeping the power dynamics to a minimum. This is extra important, as December 4th’s Gemini Full Moon will also highlight the balance (or lack thereof) between work and home, illuminating any related emotions while creating a burst of activity in those life areas! You may experience a peak career moment during this Full Moon; the vibe will be chatty, tech-y, and ripe for communication. Try to keep things cute, because now that home, career, and relationship themes have been activated, challenges could present themselves once stormy Mars clashes with Saturn on the 8th. Saturn has been restoring order in your committed partnership sector for a while now (whatever that means for you), and as impatient, action-oriented Mars barrels into Saturnian obstacles and limitations, a project or goal related to your home and family life could face frustrating delays or obstructions. It’s also possible something that had once been a germ of an idea will finally flesh out and feel more reachable, more like an actual plan instead of some unachievable ideal. After the 11th, when Mercury enters Sagittarius to turn your focus towards home and family matters even further, the wheels will spin more quickly. Expect convos with relatives or real estate agents. All of this will likely come to a head around December 19th’s Sagittarius New Moon, which lands directly in your home and family sector. This New Moon is a lovely opportunity to set new intentions surrounding those topics: reach out to the family members you’ve been neglecting, redecorate or renovate your home, scroll Zillow, begin that genealogy project, or set up your ancestor altar. Be clear with your intentions, because the days surrounding this lunation have a murky quality to them. Your energy and progress will flag from the 14th through the 17th; try not to weave that energy into your New Moon intentions. This vibe continues through the end of December; keep the faith, but stay grounded and don’t make any rash decisions.

To circle back to early December, there are a few ideal days to pursue anything involving writing, communication, tech, or transit. As Mercury trades fust bumps with Jupiter, then Saturn, on the 6th and 7th, scheme up ways to get those projects off the ground. It’s also a good time to catch up with a sibling, take a day trip, or hang out in your neighborhood! Additionally, expect a surprise on the 10th, especially one related to travel, spirituality, or higher education. I also have some steamy news for you — once Mars enters your dating, pleasure, and creative sector on the 15th (and Venus on the 24th!), those life areas will get quite spicy. Conflict is possible, however, so act accordingly. (This may also involve children, if you have any.)

  • Communication, learning new skills, and writing or tech projects will be a central theme this month, as well as time spent with siblings or cousins, traveling short distances, or simply hanging out in your neighborhood! Most of December’s celestial activity will zoom in on the above — more specifically, how they coexist (or disrupt) your work and health routines. This could manifest as: taking a course that could help you advance in the workplace, launching a Substack or podcast, buying a whole bunch of supplements to offset a busy work season, even landing a new job because your sister put in a good word for you. It all begins on the 2nd as Venus exchanges sweet nothings with transformative Pluto, jump-starting the process by igniting the desire to do so. (This energy could also ignite your love life…) As the Gemini Full Moon illuminates the sky on December 4th, highlighting a slew of opposite (but actually related) topics such as higher education, religion, and long-distance travel, it’s time to align your path with those bigger mental and spiritual journeys…so you can make them happen! It’s the contrast between little things and big things, and I’m sure you’ll strike the perfect balance. (You’re a Libra, after all.) Prepare for a challenge or conflict on the 8th, however — as aggressive, impatient Mars clashes with slow and steady Saturn, a work or health project could face delays or obstructions. This could involve a pet; it’s also a classic “double-check who you’re sending that email to” transit. Once chatty Mercury enters Sagittarius on the 11th, your mental energy will become more attuned to the above topics, and things will start moving more swiftly. The Sagittarius New Moon of December 19th is an excellent opportunity to clarify your plans for any of those aforementioned topics (communication, tech, writing, siblings, etc). Consider where you’d like them to go. (That’s likely far and wide, as this is the sector ruled by Sagittarius in your chart!) It’s important to keep the faith however; the days before and after the New Moon have a confusing, hazy, and kind of annoying quality to them. Watch out for flagging energy on the 14th and 17th, and blockages or obstructions on the 21st and the 30th. Keep your intentions clear within yourself and you’ll be fine.

You may receive some good financial or career-related news on December 6th and 7th; it’s also a good time to have that challenging work convo or even ask for a raise. A financial surprise might land at your doorstep on the 10th, however, so prepare for something unexpected. The tail end of the month also features some action related to home and family; as Mars enters your ancestral 4th house on the 15th, followed by Venus on the 24th, expect blessings and challenges in these life areas. If you feel conflict stirring, use tact and grace to vanquish it. Conversely, you may simply be pouring a lot of love and energy into your home!

  • The financial energy is strong this month, but in an interesting way. Most of the celestial energy will zoom in on the connection between how you support yourself…and your dating and creative life. Maybe this means you’re embarking on a career in the arts; perhaps it’s time to collaborate with a romantic partner on a project. (Or selling pics of your feet online.) Whatever is going on with you, December 2nd’s Venus-Pluto energy will encourage you to create with depth — and tap into your own sexual and creative power. Shortly after, on the 4th, the Gemini Full Moon arrives to emphasize your 8th house of shared resources, passive income, inheritances, and monetary gifts. This signifies a peak period within those topics, as well as illumination — as the Full Moon shines its light on the darkness, hidden truths and realizations will come to light. This lunation is a study in contrasts; Gemini is lighthearted and chatty, but the topics this sign presides over in your life are a little darker, so don’t be surprised if you feel a bit glum. Also, consider using tech, writing, and/or the internet in general as avenues to make some extra cash. Tension rules the skies on the 8th as action-oriented, impatient Mars clashes with slow-moving Saturn, bringing challenges or delays to your money-making ventures…and/or your love life. Stay adaptable. There is no growth without tension, and growth is a delectable element in any romantic or creative endeavor! Meanwhile, December 10th could bring a surprise, likely stemming from a close partnership. The key to managing any conflict is finding a balance between two seemingly opposite people or situations. Once Mercury enters Sagittarius and your personal income sector, your mind will focus even more sharply on ways to resource your life. Writing emails, brushing up on skills, and general schmoozing can be huge assets over the next few weeks. All of this is a lead-up to December 19th’s Sagittarius New Moon, an expansive lunation meant to help you plant new seeds of abundance and self-worth. Think big — Sagittarius is a Jupiter-ruled sign, and doesn’t do things halfway! Above all, don’t let your spirits flag. The days immediately surrounding the New Moon have a vague, confusing, and annoying energy that wants to steer you off your path. Don’t make any big decisions without going through all the necessary precautions, and stay grounded. This energy will soon pass; if you can’t demolish all the obstacles you face, simply accept them and keep going.

To circle back to earlier in the month, December 6th and 7th are great days to flirt, make connections, travel, and embark on activities that will expand your mind and spirit! As Mercury plays nice with first Jupiter, then Saturn, these things will feel elevated and like they finally have a solid place in your life. Later on, beginning on the 15th as Mars enters Capricorn and your 3rd house of local travel, communication, writing, and tech, consider brushing up on your skills or even starting a new writing or tech project. It’s also a perfect time to reconnect with a sibling, especially once Venus joins the party on the 24th. If you’re single and ready to mingle, the last week of December is ripe for local neighborhood meet-cutes.

  • What does home mean to you? Is it the literal place in which you reside or do you treat it more like a state of mind? I ask because establishing roots has been a major long-term theme in your life, one that’s been building since late 2024. That could mean moving, building, or selling a physical home; it may also manifest as reconnecting with family or exploring your ancestry. This month’s astrology, however, ties this journey into your personal identity and evolution — with a touch of added relationship dynamics. As December unfolds, consider how you want to steer this energy, especially on the 2nd as Venus connects to transformative Pluto to help realign your personal values. December 4th’s Gemini Full Moon, which falls in your 7th house of committed partnerships, is lighthearted, and a little bit mischievous, but it also highlights your recent relationship progress. It could mean the end of an era in some way, but this is a necessary step if you want to usher in a fresh new era! Relationship truths may come to light at this time. It’s also a chatty lunation, one ripe for playful communication and flirtation, so use that to your advantage! Watch out for potential conflict or challenges on the 8th; as impulsive Mars confronts slow-moving Saturn, delays or obstacles may come your way. Additionally, expect a surprise around the 10th, possibly involving your health (mental or physical) and the workplace.

On the 11th, Mercury, planet of thought and communication, enters Sagittarius to liven up your mind. Perhaps you’ll experience a renewed interest in philosophy or spirituality over the next few weeks, or simply spend more time writing, talking, or playing with tech. (Before this energy locks into place, however, watch out for escalating fears (or delusions), as well as flagging spirits throughout the middle of the month! Keep the faith and use December 19th’s Sagittarius New Moon to recalibrate your sense of self. Take stock of recent events and how they have enabled you to grow, and spend some time looking within for guidance on your future path. A New Moon is the darkest night of each month; it provides the quiet necessary for deep internal reflection. Over the next few days, which hold some cosmic tension, tap into your vast reserves of optimism and internal strength to crush any challenges or conflicts.

Financial energy will also surround you this month, especially once Mars enters Capricorn and your personal resources sector on the 15th. Mars provides energy but also tension; if you experience any of the latter, it should alleviate once Venus joins Mars on the 24th. Turn your focus towards strategic planning, long-term goals, and prudence to reap the rewards of this planetary combo’s effect on your finances!

  • December will be an interesting month in a lot of ways. You may be in hermit mode, wrestling with some deep-seated fears or simply escaping, well, everything — if this is the case, I’d like to gently encourage you to talk or write about it! Mars, planet of action and conflict, has been traveling through your psychic and mystical 12th house, activating your connection to Spirit, but also re-igniting those mental creepy-crawlies. Your mental health could take a hit, especially throughout the first half of the month. Internal troubles will reveal themselves in dreams or via your intuition; a strange restlessness could also seep in. Worst of all, this simmering tension is having a hard time expressing itself. Communication blocks and delays, fears surrounding mental limitations, or feeling weighed down by responsibilities involving a sibling relationship are all ways this energy can manifest. Financial stress, work overwhelm, or health issues will also crop up during early in the month, and by December 4th’s Gemini Full Moon you’ll be extra burnt out. It’s important to remember that, oftentimes, these types of feelings are an era. They don’t normally last forever; you’re not weak for feeling sad. This Full Moon is also social and chatty — it may help to confide in a friend or journal it out! All of this will come to a head on the 8th when Mars clashes with Saturn, creating more obstacles and delays. For you, these will likely be internal. Again, giving any fears or resentments an outlet will go a long way, especially after wordy Mercury enters Sagittarius on the 11th, providing the perfect opportunity to do just that! The middle of the month will also have a hazy, uncertain quality to it; everyone will be tired and spirits are flagging, including yours. The Sagittarius New Moon of December 19th is the perfect time to begin a fresh mental health cycle, one that reflects what your psyche is dealing with now. Clean up your mental hygiene, schedule some time alone, and allow those secret buried feelings to air their dirty laundry. (Privately, in your journal, or on the phone with your bestie. I know you’ll keep it cute.) Some of the more challenging days will be the 17th, 21st, 24th, and 30th, so plan accordingly! This isn’t to say December will be a bummer of a month — in fact, you could be loving your weirdo psychic dreams or tarot deck shopping addiction. If that’s the case, then go off! However, the best way to handle anything that comes your way this month is to simply give it a voice.

To circle back to early December, the 6th and 7th are lovely days to communicate with friends, lovers, neighbors, and/or siblings. If there’s a tough convo that needs to be had, try to schedule it around that time. Keep an eye out for a surprise involving a friend or romantic partner on the 10th — watch what you say because any conflict will likely involve words or text. Then, on the 15th, Mars enters Capricorn, exiting your mental health and isolation sector to rev up your whole life. You’ll feel more energetic and possibly more conflict-oriented; if this is the case, exercise always helps. Venus joins Mars on the 24th, meaning you’ll also be extra magnetic and charming!

  • Friendship and community play an important role this month, especially if there’s a financial tie-in between those life areas! It begins on the 2nd as Venus blows a kiss to transformative Pluto, initiating connection and partnership within your extended social circles. Additionally, if you’re crushing on a friend, this is a good time to ask them out — especially since the Gemini Full Moon of the 4th lands in your dating, pleasure, and creativity sector. Full Moons indicate peak activity and completion, so expect some flirtatious chatting under the Moon’s illuminating rays. Hidden truths may arise, emotions could run high, but since Gemini is an adaptable, fun-loving sign, it shouldn’t be too dramatic. (It has the potential to be quite spicy, though…) The 8th may present some challenges. As action-oriented, impatient Mars clashes with slow and cautious Saturn, expect a conflict involving friendship and/or money. This could be quite literal or more internal; perhaps you’re experiencing cold feet about jumping into business with an acquaintance, or feel your wallet dwindling due to an annoying amount of social obligations. Whatever it is, prepare for any tension with a smile. On the 11th, mental Mercury moves into Sagittarius and your social 11th house, meaning even more movement, conversations, and schmoozing. Take advantage of this cosmic energy — it has the power to help you make connections in general, but especially ones that will further your career goals. Keep your head screwed on straight, however, especially around mid-December, which is hazy, nebulous, and a little exhausting. No rash financial decisions allowed. December 19th’s Sagittarius New Moon is a good opportunity to do a hard friendship reset; if you’re not excited and inspired by the people around you, it’s time to clean house (or at least throw on an addition)! If you have enough friends but are seeking more community, sit with your emotions and clarify your desires during this New Moon. So much wisdom can be found within. And stay optimistic over the next few days, which have an annoying quality to them that can make you doubt your progress or project your issues onto someone else.

There are several days early in the month, specifically the 6th and 7th, with the potential to deliver positive career moments, especially ones involving communication or tech. As Mercury bumps fists with first Jupiter, then Saturn, amp up your workplace presence while strategically organizing your finances. Additionally, expect a career surprise on the 10th, possibly stemming from home and/or family. Restlessness is the vibe there, but the latter half of the month will have you in hermit mode, preferring your own company to that of others (makes sense, given all the action in your social sectors). Take time to yourself. Your mental health may falter a bit; if this is the case, it should ease after the 24th. You may also feel extra suspicious or obsessive, especially regarding a romantic partner. Watch out for secrets or anything hidden — I’m not saying anything untoward will happen, but it certainly can. Above all, work on your mental health during those last few weeks of the month.

  • Career drama and development is the main course this month, and you should expect it to be served with a side of identity crisis and renewal. It all begins on December 2nd as Venus and Pluto tryst together in the shadows, providing an opportunity to fine-tune your career value and goals…as well as manage (or purge) some deep-seated fears. To further clear things out, the Gemini Full Moon of the 4th will emphasize work/life balance, as well as home and family themes. A Full Moon illuminates your emotional space and offers closure, so this lunation may impart an “end of an era” feeling, but it could also just mean those life areas will be extra busy at this time. It’s also a chatty, social Full Moon, so text your favorite relatives or organize a family-get-together! (Chosen family counts, too.) December 6th is a cute day to flirt or ask out your crush; as Mercury joins forces with Jupiter, you have a better chance of sticking the landing. However, boundaries are both friend and mentor on the 7th. Meanwhile, expect tension or frustration on the 8th, especially when it comes to career ambition or public life. As Mars, planet of bravery, action, and conflict, bumps into stodgy Saturn, you may face delays or obstacles…which, honestly, are usually excellent agents for change, if that’s something you’re into. The 10th features an explosive Mercury-Uranus combo with the capacity to deliver surprising news of some kind, possibly involving travel, communication, or higher education. Spiritual pursuits may be affected as well! Give your crazy ideas air space, but don’t say (or write and publish) anything too incendiary…unless you welcome chaos, then go for it!

The 11th is the most imaginative day of the month. As mental Mercury makes a positive connection to ethereal, otherworldly Neptune, the creative juices will flow. You may also feel called towards exotic new philosophies, cultures, or religions; spiritual or mystical experiences are also possible. This vibe is short but sweet; Mercury will move into Sagittarius and your career sector that very same day, initiating several weeks of learning, communication, writing, and tech. If you need to have an important convo or manage a boatload of mind-numbing tasks, use this energy to make it happen. There are a few snags in the ensuing days, however; they’ll mostly take the form of diminished optimism and vitality, but keeping the faith will get you through it. (The worst offenders are the 14th, 17th, 21st, 24th, and 30th.) Once the Sagittarius New Moon of December 19th swoops in under an expansive, growth-oriented sky, it’s time to take stock of your career decisions and experiences — and plan your next moves. A New Moon is the darkest night of the month, nudging you towards examining the hidden aspects of your emotions and psyche. Scan your internal spaces for any blockages or unhelpful patterns; your new career era doesn’t need those in the way!

Alongside all of this, the latter half of the month features a rush of energy pouring into your social 11th house. As Mars enters Capricorn on the 15th, followed by Venus on the 24th, extra love (and extra annoyances) may flood your extended social circles and communities. Watch out for conflicts with friends. The last week (once Venus joins the chat), however, is a prime time to chat up that friend-group cutie. You may also feel like forming new group or communities!
