When will Submissions be open?
TBA
What kind of submissions do you accept?
For our first year, we will have Stand Up, Improv, and Sketch comedy submissions. Submissions for Stand Up should be an uncut 5-7 minute performance. Sketch and Improv submissions should be an uncut 5-10 minute performance. For all submissions, make sure it’s your best and something you or your group are proud to showcase and be used to judge your acceptance. No additional submissions will be accepted. Only one submission per performer or group will be accepted/judged.
Make sure that all videos are available for shared access, whether public or unlisted, they should not be password protected. We prefer a YouTube link for easiest access.
When will I notified if I’ve been accepted?
Any comic accepted into the festival will be notified by August 31st. Details on show lineups, venues and dates of performance will be sent in a separate email once we are closer to the festival dates. They will also be posted on a SHOWS page on this website.
When will Tickets be on sale?
Tickets will be made available as the Regular Submission window has closed. Date: July 31st.
Are there age restrictions for submissions or attending the shows?
We do suggest that all participants whether performing or enjoying are 18+ due to the venues that most of the shows will be taking place. We suggest contacting us to verify whether a show you are looking to attend has any age restriction not listed above.
Where do the submission fees go?
All submission fees will only be put towards improving the festival and securing talent to make sure that we are providing the best possible experience to both participating comics and the audience that attends our shows. This means providing great national talent, bringing comics together for networking mixers, industry panels, workshops, and having special events specifically for comics!
