From palette to play, Muses Burlesque brings masters of art past carefully curated for an evening of seduction at the Arts Center of the Capital Region.
Allow yourself to be transported from gallery to glamour as Troy welcomes premier showgirls bringing to life iconic artwork by figures such as Frida Kahlo and boundary-pushing Pop Art legend Andy Warhol, all while engaging you, the viewer, in sultry tributes that blur the line between mischief and masterpieces.
Burlesque provocateur Bouchée Bardot presents an installation filled to the brim with some of New York’s finest performers, guiding you through a resurgence of the art world’s past. With acts harnessing everything from the romanticism of the Pre-Raphaelites to the edgy energy of contemporary creators, the art of the tease steps off the canvas for one unforgettable night.
Sit back while your host, Teasy Roosevelt—comedian, activist, and subject of the 2025 Cannes World Festival documentary God Breast America—leads you on a gallery tour featuring performances by Noelle Reign, Vixen Vega, Venus Vendetta, Bouchée Bardot, Bruce Neese, Skarlet Killz, Emerald Storm, Autumn Affair, Lulu La Femme, Simon Phoenix, Tessa Trueheart, the Bees Knees Babes, and the kitten of the night, Cleo Cheri.

Before the curtain rises, seize the opportunity to join Muses’ own Tessa Trueheart for a special burlesque choreography workshop, taking place from 2:00–4:00 PM in the Arts Center’s dance studio. Whether you’re new to the craft or looking to refine your artistic tease, this is a chance you won’t want to miss. Engage in the art brought to you by Bees Knees Burlesque and Pole Academy, where you jump heels first into the dance class of your dreams.
The Arts Center of the Capital Region, located at 265 River Street, Troy, NY, hosts this 21+ event on Saturday, September 20, from 8:00 PM to 10:30 PM (doors at 7:30 PM).
