PREVIEW: Begin your Tulip Fest Celebrations with Champagne on Lark

05/07 @ Lark Hall, Albany

Positioned amongst the beautiful scenery of Washington Park and an array of fascinatingly historic architecture, Lark Street is home to a plethora of creatives dedicated to creating spaces for community members to unite. And with Tulip Fest occurring on May 9 and 10, Lark Hall and the Lark Street Business Improvement District are excited to announce their event, Champagne on Lark, a celebration on May 7 to prelude the annual Mother’s Day festival.

From 6-11p.m. at 351 Hudson Avenue, Lark Street will be bustling with a celebration that has remained an exciting staple for years. Champagne on Lark is set to celebrate the diverse array of residents, artists, business owners, and students whose hard work has kept Lark Street alive with culture and community. The event, reimagined by Lark Hall and the Lark Street Business Improvement District, aims to bring people together over food from local businesses, an auction, music appearances by Todd Nelson, the NolaNauts, and DJ RVMBA, and, of course, champagne.

“We’re thrilled to help bring back a beloved community tradition that celebrates the energy and creativity of Lark Street’s entrepreneurs and neighbors,” says Jennifer Miller, owner of Lark Hall. "There's truly no place in the region quite like Lark Street.”

Champagne on Lark is more than just a local gathering; in addition to a night filled with music, cuisine, and amazing drinks, proceeds from the event will benefit In Our Own Voices, Inc., an organization dedicated to supporting members from the LGBTQ+ community, people of color, and local friends and families. Through events that raise awareness, bring community members together, and embrace every important conversation, In Our Own Voices, Inc., is an essential support system within the Capital Region. Alongside In Our Voices Inc., Champagne on Lark has an exciting array of sponsors supporting this wonderful event including Albany Distilling Co., Center Square Barber Shop, and more.

Prior to the event, tickets will be sold for $59.20, and $70.76 the day of the event. To get your ticket for Champagne on Lark, visit https://bit.ly/48LByvs.
