With a slight chill in the air and the leaves just beginning to turn vibrant shades of orange, the Lake George Skate Plaza and Charles R. Wood Park once again played host to the Wild in the Trees Music and Skate Festival, a unique collaboration between local music and skateboarding. This year’s event featured performances by Antwon Levee and Dust, The Hauntings, The Story Boys, The Sugar Hold, Capital Zen, and Chestnut Grove, who are quickly becoming the North Country’s favorite band from Pennsylvania!
Of course, that was only half the excitement. Skateboarders from across the Northeast gathered to show off their skills during several competitions, including Best Trick, High Ollie, a round of S.K.A.T.E., and a jaw-dropping freestyle jam. Between the music, skating, and great food and drink, Wild in the Trees proved to be the perfect way to cap off an amazing summer.
