GALLERY: Who Let the Dogg Out? Swamp Dogg Comes to Troy

11/01 @ No Fun, Troy

On Sunday November 1, Swamp Dogg rolled into Troy in a full pink suit with matching hat and shoes and an energy that dispersed out the door like smoke. He and his band delivered a performance at No Fun that made your heart jump inside but the words that he spoke in between songs simply touched your heart. He is 84 years old and has seen his fair share of injustice but has never given up on his spirit and encourages the crowd to always do what they love. The whole band defined style and stage presence while delivering an experience to some local residents of Troy that have waited decades to see him. Opening the evening was Troy’s very own Front Biz, the psychedelic rock quartet known for their riff-heavy sound, offbeat grooves, and experimental edge.
