Saturday night saw the return of the Ooky Spooky Showcase, presented by Zan Strumfeld and Michael Gregg of Zan & the Winter Folk. The intimate event saw nine local artists perform an original song they wrote based on a spooky season-worthy article from local history. There were suspicious murders, one-armed men, drowning children and even… loose hogs. Each performer regaled the audience with the story behind their respective songs making for a personal, truly unique, event.
