GALLERY: Kansas Kicks Off Capital Concert Series

The New York State Office of General Services (OGS) kicked off the 2026 Capital Concert Series last week, welcoming Capital Region classic rock fans to the Empire State Plaza for an evening with Kansas. Muscle Shoals, a premier Hudson Valley tribute to the Allman Brothers Band, opened the show.
The series continues July 8 with reggae star Ding Dong, followed by Grammy-nominated soul-pop band Lawrence on July 15, before wrapping up July 22 with Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah.
All shows begin at 5 p.m. and are free and open to the public.
