Jon Batiste took the stage at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) on August 22nd, captivating an enthusiastic audience with an unforgettable show. Throughout his set, Batiste seamlessly blended beloved classics with his own distinctive compositions, all supported by the renowned Philadelphia Orchestra as well as his own exceptional band.

The concert marked the release of his new album, Big Money, which debuted that very day. His performance included timeless covers such as “Georgia On My Mind,” “Ain’t No Sunshine,” and “When The Saints Go Marching In”. Each cover in the set flowed effortlessly with his original songs, like “Lonely Avenue”, “Lean on my Love” and the title track “Big Money”, showcasing Batiste’s ability to create music that stands alongside the classics.

To close the evening, Batiste led a joyful parade through the crowd, playing his melodica and accompanied by his band on percussion and vocals, pausing to share an embrace with a few lucky fans along the way.
