Goo Goo Dolls & Dashboard Confessional? Welcome to A night of y2k Rock
90s and 00s bands Goo Goo Dolls and Dashboard Confessional sang their contributions to the Y2K Rock setlist to a massive sweat-drenched crowd at SPAC on Wednesday night. Enthusiastic fans sang Goo Goo Dolls favorites like “Black Balloon,” “Slide,” and their most famous tune “Iris” from the 1997 film City of Angels. Dashboard Confessional, who opened the evening, didn’t disappoint, and an entire amphitheater screamed back at the stage that they had been “Vindicated”—their most well known song, also from a movie—the 2004 Sam Raimi film Spiderman 2.
