Bonnie had the crowd crying, dancing, laughing, feeling every emotion throughout the night during her September 3rd show at SPAC.

Raitt expressed how good it felt to be back in the area and reflected on the importance of upstate NY in her journey: Raitt learned to play guitar in a camp at Saranac Lake that she attended every summer for eight years, and spent her last two years of high school in Poughkeepsie. Norm Kaiser was the teacher she said inspired her to become an activist, his wife Peggy was in the audience and Raitt dedicated “Nick of Time” to her.

Raitt brought Jimmy Vaughn back on for the encore. “Here’s to public television,” Raitt said, before playing a duet, “The Pleasure is All Mine,” with Jimmy Vaughn that they first performed together on Austin City Limits.
