The sounds of classic rock filled the Empire State Plaza Convention Center during the New York State Food Festival this past Wednesday. While Albanites and folks from across the state enjoyed a wide array of cuisines, Troy locals Super 400 kicked off the evening. 80s tribute band Aquanett followed, bringing some metal to the scene for us to enjoy.

Fellow New Yorkers, Blue Öyster Cult, brought their nostalgic energy to close out the night. (In case you were curious, the “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper” creators formed in Stony Brook on Long Island in 1967.) Going on 60 years of rocking out, we’re glad they came back to the Capital Region.
